CAFC0389 AFCP2016 VTAM REQSESS FAILED VTAM RC= 144B VTM SENS= 0821 PGM ERR= F5
Am getting the above error message which is not available over message manual. Has anyone come across this message and if yes, please advise on how to resolve the same. |

DESCRIPTION: AFCP2016 ATTEMPTED TO ESTABLISH COMMUNICATION WITH CICS BUT FAILED. RETRYING INITIALIZATION PROCESS. AFCP2016 WILL RETRY 3 TIMES BEFOR TERMINATING WITH RETURN CODE 24.
RESPONSE: TRY TO DETERMINE REASON FOR INITIALIZATION FAILURE BY RESEARCHING CICS CSMT LOG AND OR VTAM BUFFER TRACE.

Hello,
This time you should talk with both the network support people and your cics support.
I would suggest you test all of the interfaces while you have them both available.
It sounds as though you have multiple configuration inconsistencies. . . |
