Hi folks

Here is my situation: I want to copy a member and rename it, and update some records, also, I wanna:

Code:
IF=(1,0,C"AAAAAA")

Then insert a specific record right after the record above.

FILE-AID is not allowed me to use COPYMEM and WRITE together.

Any thoughts??

Thx,
Galen

Hi,

try this

Code:
*
*** INSERT A LINE AFTER EACH OCCURRENCE OF AAAAAA
*
$$DD01 USER MEMBER=OLDNAME,NEWMEM=NEWNAME,
              WRITE=DD01O,
              IF=(1,0,C"AAAAAA"),
              MOVE=(1,C'NEW LINE'),
              WRITE=DD01O
