Hi
I tried the below in my shop and I could able to retrieve the Component from the package.
Stage a dummy component in to the package with the same name as Deleted Component Name and check the Version for the component, we can see the previous version (which is the deleted one). |

You are welcome.
You can type "VC" infront of the component in CHANGEMAN and see all the version. |

Hi Suresh,
I have deleted one component in my package and restaged the dummy component with the same name and tried to get version no of the component by giving VC but I am getting message as no version no.
Please find the attached document for details...
Regards,
Rajender |

Hi
We could not able to see your attachment. PLease do not attach any document as per the forum rule.
I tried the same in my shop which is working fine for me..
Did your component have versions before it was deleted? |

No the component does not have version no installed earlier. Is there any specific way of creating version no or once the component is staged in the package version no will be created automatically. |

Hi
When you stage a component automatically the version number will be created. If you are making any changes on the program and compiling it again, next version will be created...
By typing "VC" against the component we can see both the components. |
