Hi ,
Sorry to jump in between but can anybody throw some light on the issue of interaction between java and cobol.
Right now I am planning to create an Enterprise cobol program which will sit in Z/os and it will call the java API which are stored as HFS in USS. These files path I will include in my jcl. Please tell me whether I am on right track.
Also is there any way in which we can eliminate USS part and create the java executables in Z/OS area and then make calls from Enterprise cobol program.
Or if anybody know any other effective way to interact cobol with java then pleasa let me know.
