Please type KEYS as a primary command on ISPF browse and set UP for PF7, DOWN for PF8.
Regarding crossline, check with emulator settings... |

Okay, Once set those keys on ISPF browse and it'd be forever.

It's based on the emulator what you are using. Normally, go to Settings -> Display (Something like this...) |

But, do the scrolling commands (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) work? |

Check while BROWSEing that your SCROLL ===> value didn't get overtyped with zeros. Weird but it happens! |

Hi Anuj,
Crossline/crosshair uses one vertical and one horizontal line to mark the x,y coordinates of where the cursor currently is. It looks much like the sight on a rifle scope or a camera. |

Hi Anuj,
What you posted is what is happening on Kumar's screen - and it is not wanted.
The question is how to turn it off. . . My current 3270-emulator doesn't have this. Others i've used in the past could be turned on/off in the emulator settings. |

Well, so for me, but is this what he is looking for .. . This way "cross lines" will disappear ..one more hit on "Ctrl+Home" they are back ..& this, per Dick, will happen,

My variations ..........
If you understand what you're doing, you're probably in the right job.
If you understand what you're doing, you can confuse those that don't.
If you understand what you're doing, sit back and watch those that don't try figure. |

Check while BROWSEing that your SCROLL ===> value didn't get overtyped with zeros. Weird but it happens!
my SCROLL OPTION WAS 0000, I changed it to CSR and it is working now.
Crossline problem.
-----------------------
The crossline which i was talking about is corectly guessed by Anuj and Expat given me the solution CTRL+HOME worked for me.
Once again thank you guys, really i am feeling very happy becuase of this forum. |

If you don't understand what you are doing, you can really confuse others who don't as well as many who do. . .

Is this like hiding a piece of the puzzle so that it cannot be completed. . .
