Convert Rtape file to Dasd

Hi all,
I have a Rtape file with 8 voluem serials. I need to convert to DASD file
1. Is it possible to convert
2. If so could you plz help me out in how much space need to be given
ex:
SPACE=(CYL,(2000,10000,RLSE),
DISP=(NEW,CATLG,DELETE),
UNIT=SYSDA

Hi,

What does "RTape" mean ? If this is just other way to refer TAPE Files at your shops, below link can provide you a start, have a look please:

Hello,

Before concerning yourself with the jcl specifics, i suggest you talk with your storage management people and make sure there is enough space in the storage pool you will write into.

They can also show you the proper way to set up the jcl for your system.
