Hi,
I am a PL/1 programmer, I work in IMS envirnoment.
The envirnoment is very compliacted. We are confined only to batch.
To get a hang of Online line system I would like to do Some practice on the Online systems. Hence is there any Public access Z/Os or MVS available..?
I am askig this because, I used a AS/400 for free, using Emulator and my internet connection.
Is there any such thing for Z/OS or MVS..
Any suggestions are welcome........ |

Hello,
You may want to do some research on Hercules. There are a few topics in this forum and many more on the internet.
I am not aware of a free mvs/z_os service. |

In addiotion to Dick's reply this can be of your use...
Freeware 3270 emulators
1. tn3270 for the Macintosh
2. tn3270 for Unix (recommend x3270 instead)
3. x3270 - IBM 3270 terminal emulator for the X Window System. It runs on most Unix-like operating systems -- e.g., Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris, and Cygwin. |
