Error - NON-SEQUENTIAL GDG

I am trying to execute the jcl which is executing the proc ABC at step JS010 and JS020.

CDE is the program executed twice in the proc ABC.

file1 & file2 (GDG) are created in the by the program CDE in the job.

I have coded the jcl such that step JS010 creates +1 & +2 gen of file1 and file2. for step JS020 it creates +3 & +4 gens for files.

When I am trying to execute the job but it is throwing jcl error.
so I prep it and found the error is ' NON-SEQUENTIAL GDG 'file1(+3)' . Similar error for file2.

Can anyone explain the reason for the above error?

I can't. Can you post the JCL/PROC code?
