Hi,
Do we need to change/alter the FCT entry when there is a change in LRECL of a VSAM file which is already present in CICS FCT?

However, KEYLENGTH remains unchanged.

Thanks for your help,
Mathi v

Neither LRECL nor KEYLENGTH are recorded in the RDO file definition (which used to be an FCT), so you don't need to change it should either change. However, key length changes could impact which LSR pool is used for the file so consult your CICS systems programmer should you change the key length.
