I have created strobe report for db2 program tunning ...
Strobe report is poing to "BM BUFFER POOL MGR". While checking the location I got simple insert statment but inserting Huge(100000 records) row.
Q1) How I will tune Buffer pool?.. Please any good idea for tunning buffer pool in DB2 program..
Please advise on this? |

Hello,
There is not much you can do to tune 100000 inserts - that is going to take some amount of resource.
What you might do is schedule your processes so that high volume inserts are not done in the "peak" periods of online use, thereby causing less of an impact. |
