Hi All,
Can anybody provide me the various options available for transferring files securely from UNIX to Mainframes?
Note: Any useful information regarding VPN (virtual private network) would be more helpful. |

VPN is a Virtual Private Network and allow you a communication in site-to-site and user-to-site on high speed.
I think that if your machine is already inserted in a network you n don't need it.
Try to communicate with mainframe using a SSH FTP that's freeware or a simple FTP.
If you want to pay try also with CA-XCOM (I use it and it work very fine and with a small rexx you can use with only one license for all your network).
This is the link to CA:http://www3.ca.com/Solutions/Collateral.asp?CID=57613&ID=145 |
