Are you looking for the LE version/release?

What compiler are you using?

From what I remember (grey matter not withstanding), LE has been an integral part of the COBOL compiler since COBOL/370 or COBOL/MVS and an optional add-on for OS/VS COBOL and COBOL2.

You may find the LE version/release stamped directly into the load module within the first 256-Bytes.
