Hi,
GSAM file is nothing but flat file so we can delete the same and recreate it , depends on the scenario we can utilize
accordingly.
For instance while using Checkpoint concept we can treat the flat file as GSAM,
With respective to checkpoint ,Difference between two is in Flatfile while
restarting it will read from 1st record and way out for duplication whereas in GSAM file we can restart and process the records at the point in which it erroded out.
