Hi,
I have a FB file with LRECL=80, In some of the records data in position 75 to 80 is space.
now when I FTP, I need to retain this space in this poition.
i.e in the .txt file when I press END key, the cursor should be in 80th position, instead of 75.
Which command I should use for FTP. |

Fixed length records is not a windows format don't worry about it, or just ensure that all the records have a character in position 80. |

Just curious - why?
Is there some windows application that requires the extra spaces? |

This data needs to be loaded to an external DB(me think it's MS Access). And that DB needs this space info. |
