Way, way back when I first started working in IT, one of the guys in our Operations Support Team wrote a few utilities that exactly replicated what the JES Internal Reader does as far as parsing JCL and resolving procedures and variables and ultimately creating a formatted output stream for further down-stream processing.
Since we were, at that time, reporting to the individual who invented/maintained the CBT Tape files, I'm wondering if they ever possibly made it onto the collection somewhere.
I'm wondering if anyone happens to know? |

it was/is a command processor that invoked the converter
it is contained in the file 038 of the cbt overflow ( memorex mods )
file 032 of the normal cbt contains a version working under mvs 3.8 j |
