Hi,

I want know the space calculation for a tablespace, how it is all done.
I want to create a partition tablespace, which will have 2 partitions.

For example,
I want to create a table in that partition tablespace which of
Length = 100 [Adding all the column length of a particular Table]
No. of Records i want to insert in a particular table is 10,000
Page Size = 4K
Freepage = 0
PCTFREE = 5
COMPRESS = 0

What i want to know is, how to start the calculations from here.
Like, for this particular table space.
How many pages, tracks, cylinders, primary quantity would be needed for this ?

I want to know the formula for calculating the no. of pages, tracks, cyclinder & primary quantity

From the previous postings, i found out that 22 bytes in a page will be used to store, particular page details.
