Hi,

I have a IMS DC code which is using purge call to insert a screen. I am not sure of my understanding here. Can anyone please tell me the following:

How Can IMS-CALL be used to insert a screen in IMS DC and when it is used to insert a screen what will be its functionaity?

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards

Hello Anuj

Thanks for the Reply icon_smile.gif , I am not sure how my post got deleted icon_neutral.gif
My query here is As far as I know PURG call in IMS DC means it tells the IMS that message is complete.
However there is a particular call where a Purg call is used to insert the mesage into PTR_PCB1

The call here is
CALL PLITDLI (THREE,
PURG,
PTR_PCB_1,
IO_REC);
where
PTR_PCB1 refers to
(FROM THE PSB)

PCB TYPE=TP,
LTERM=LTERMNAM1

This call as the Description in the Program says is writing the IO_REC to LTERMNAM1

Thanks
