I'm having a problem with a DB2 job and I'm looking for some help... here is the scenario..

I have 10 jobs which uses same proc and I am using systsin file for IKJEFT1B with following contents

DSN SYSTEM(D2T4)
RUN PROGRAM(HRBXSB2C) PLAN(D2T4DEV)-
PARMS('08244,jobname,000')

Here first parameter is date and second one is jobname and need to be a variable.

Please suggest any way if available to pass Link parms to program when we are using IKJEFT1B

Thanks,
Chandu

Here are three similar topics:

Remember, variables defined to the JCL can only be used by the JCL. They have no value anywhere else outside of the JCL.

hey, let him alone.

at least he got back to us.

as nic said the other day,
either they complain because we are not nice
or they never say thanks for taking time to help.

usually, they just post another thread, with another request to help them earn money
