Could anyone please give me an overview of db scripts?
Is it same as procedures used to execute more than one SQL statements?
If no. could you please tell me wat is the difference??
I'd be grateful if I could get the format of the same. Could anyone advise any reference material? I want to write a script which updates a column in a table

Thanks in advance... icon_smile.gif

Where did you learn this term? It is not a standard DB2 term (i.e. not in the manual).

Usually, this is done with a stand-alone query or emedded in a program.
