Hello,
You need to talk with one of your peers or a/the dba.
Execute jcl is site-specific and you should conform to whatever is standard on your system. |

@ scherrer,
It would ge great if you can give some heads up on this before I get in touch with my DBA. Your help is highly appreciated as this is a immediate business requirement. |

such kind of requirement should not rely on forum replies,
( replying is on volunteer and time available base )
also claiming urgency after a topic has been inactive for 6 months seems odd
repeating Dick advice

How did it become "immediate" when the question was asked over 1/2 a year ago. . .? There has been plenty of time to run several tests. . .
As then, the answer is in your organization and you need to conform to however this is to be done on your system. |

I knew the question was posted half year ago. But at that point I was just working on the options. Now it became a requirement. I will get in touch with my DBA for this as google didn't help me out.
Thank you so much for prompt replies as it is always nice to get some answers clarified from you. |

Surely, the best course of action. Something from Google might cause you more work/problems than it would be worth. . .
Good luck |
