Hello selva and welcome to the forums,
Does Infoman not already have built-in reporting? |

Hi,
i know there is option to get the details in infoman. But my actual requirement is,
i have to send a report to my manager about status for all the tickets created on this week at weekend in mail.
So i thought of creating a program either rexx or cobol and i will send report to my manager mail ID automatically.
then my manager not needed my help, he can submit the job and he will get the report in his mail id.
thanks

Hi Anuj,
i saw your previous question. yes, i do have front end for infoman which as so many options to provide reports.
But as i said, my manager has to retrieve those report and he as to send it to all other managers for every week. ( i am not sure, but i think he those type of reports daily also),
i want to make all this process to automated including sending mail. so i want to know the dataset for that.
Please let me know if any of you know which dataset will give me those information.
Thanks |

Hello selva,
Do you know how to run the report you want in batch?
The output from a batch job can be sent as an e-mail attachment and i believe this will do what you want. Once working, your job could be scheduled to run daily or weekly or both and automatically send your manager (and any others) te report(s).
I do not understand which "dataset" you are looking for. |

Yes, i am aware of batch process.
I too have the similar kind of idea like you said above.
But i don't know which datasets will provide the information about the Tickets. If got that information for any one of you, i will start doing my coding to read that dataset and will produce the report.
Hope i have explained correctly, Plz some one help me on this.
Thanks |
