Database, Tablespace and Table size estimation

Hi all,

I have to create a table in test region, but dont have privileges to create in a default database. so I am trying to create in another database, here i would like to know how to estimate the how much space is left free in the database and tablespace.

Could any one please help me in this regard.

Hello,

Before you "borrow" space from "another database" i suggest you talk with the dba(s) and ask where you should locate your new entities.

They will set up permissions and possibly a new database/tablespace if you are supposed to do this.
