hi
We all know the advantages of using sms routines.
what i want to know is whether there is any disadvantage in using dataclas acs routine? could u please give me some feedback and suggestion on this regard |

Any advantages or disadvantages depend entirely on how the SMS constructs are built and how they are administered. Purely site specific.
The only real problem that I encountered with DATACLAS was when the RECFM and LRECL were specified in the DATACLAS and the file was not opened for output it had an invalid DSORG, but I believe this is no longer a problem now as a default DSORG can be applied. |
