i want to know why the file status 9A has came..
how to overcome this??

Is your FILE-STATUS WS Field defined as PIC S99?. If so, define it as PIC 99 instead and you'll find the "9A" has miraculously transformed itself into a "91".
Then, all will be forgiven....
