Positions: Project Lead
IT Exp : 5 - 9 Years & 3+ Years in relevant area
? B.E/MCA
?SKIll Required :IDMS, ADS/O, CICS, Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MVS, OS390
Application Support/Enhancements:
? Manage the day to day operations for systems assigned to support
while adhering to our Operational Excellence standards and processes.
? Investigate and report root cause for production incidents for
assigned systems.
? Direct the work of contractors in both India and other GEHC Global
Poles.
? Responsible for 24X7 production support coverage for the assigned
systems with respective to end users located across GEHC geographical
locations and time zones.
? Understand and ensure the adherence to production support and
related service level agreements and polices. Includes all compliance
and other regulators needs.
? Execute the delivery of system enhancements (client requested or
planned maintenance) while adhering to our Job Jar process.
? Ensure systems remain at operational excellence during
infrastructure improvements (hardware upgrades, server migrations, OS
upgrades, etc.).
? Manage global systems in an overall global multi-platform,
multi-technology architecture (client server, middleware, packet
networks, and a variety of servers including traditional IBM Mainframe
and Sun servers)
? Maintain relevant electronic documentation and other structured
technologies to allow for easy understanding of assigned systems to
meet a variety of Global IT needs.
Team Leadership:
? Establish work plans and lead the team in the delivery of KTLO (Keep
The Lights On) support, Job Jar enhancements and enabling of large
development programs.
? Manage knowledge transition between team members and other involved
teams.
? Responsible for resource management, project schedule tracking, risk
management.
? Ability to energize and inspire diverse teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
? Strong verbal/written communication skills.
? BE/BTech/MCA degree or equivalent experience with relevant business
processes.
? Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
? 5+ years of experience..
? Demonstrated analytical problem solving skills includes ability to
work in a disciplined and structured Information Technology environment.
? 3+ years preferred for the assigned Technologies.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to escalate
to upper management and communicate with various GE teams.
? Strong interpersonal and team skills. Proven ability to influence
and drive change/results. Global mindset.
