Hi,
I need a FILEAID jcl for replacing 1st 4 characters from control cards.
My requiremt: I've 3 control card which contains the following values.
Values : fv2131abcv
I need to replace fv21 to mb11.
Please provide me a FILEAID jcl. It's really urgent.
NOTE: All the input datasets are PDS. I need a single job which will replace fv21 values to mb11 in all 3 control cards.

If it is really urgent (say a production system is down and someone needs the answer get the system back up), the forum is not the place for the question - especially on the weekend.
If there is an urgent problem, the best 3 places for a quick correct answer should be your peers, your own technical support people, or the vendor support people (in this case Compuware).
If it is truly urgent why not use something else (like your sort product or a tiny bit of your own code)?
I cannot relate to an urgent problem that limits what may be used for the solution.

This needs clarification. The post talks about "3 control cards" and then multiple pds datasets 
Unless someone makes a lucky guess, you will need to provide more consistent info for us to help. |

if it is so urgent why not look at the documentation Yourself ?

What is urgent for one person is not necessarily urgent to another who probably has other priorities and is generous enough to donate his/her time and expertise free of charge.  |
