Hi ,

I have the following scenario ;

1) I have 4 files A,B,C,D.

2) file A and File B are identical(have same set of keys) while file B and File C are identical(have same set of keys).I need to perform a match between file A & File B and File C & File D.

Can I pass these 4 files in my JOb INPUT ,,,,as I know that we can pass 2 files in JOB INPUT and then use the MATCHED /NOT MATCHED on them.

Is there a way we can perform this matching in a single Eazytrieve or do I need to write separate programs for them?

Please help.Thanks in advance.

Tushar

Hi Tushar,

We can compare more than 2 files in a single program. But due to complexity, we prefer only 2 files in a program. Refer the following statements.

Quote:

* EZT+ automatically matches an unlimited number of input files using an unlimited number of keys.

* Due to the complexity of using more than two (2) files, it is recommended that MATCH processing be limited to two (2) files.
