While copying a VB file using IEBGENER the space characters at the end of the records are getting truncated. How can we preserve the record as it is. |

Explain exactly what you mean and how you know the spaces are disappearing.
Are you using EDIT and then browse to look at the file ? |

when using edit, before you save, PRESERVE ON.
edit will truncate things, sometimes.
but as Craig and expat said, iebgener only truncates to the output dcb. if you used a correct dcb for your output, nothing was truncated. |
