Hi hiperstation is the testing-tool which is used to record the functions, like we can test all the online mainfarme screens.
Testing means , first we need to record the function i.e what are all function we doing, that function will be recorded ,then this functions codes can be shown as a REXX script ,we need to apply some logic over there then only we can able to play it again.

Masking means there two types of masking are there 1.Global masking 2.ordinary masking.
If global masking means(In REXX script , if you want to hide or mask the variable or data)we can apply the masking, it will applicale to all the scripts or function.
Ordinary masking: It's applicable only for that particular REXX script.
Compare:
There is a option called compare in hiperstation (it will ask Compare ON (OR) OFF ,if u put compare off it would't show any bug over there.Instead of everything will pass over it.
If you put compare ON it will compare but Obviously it will through the error because while you recording there was one date and time but when you play back there is another time so mismatch will occur. |

Enrico,
It's testing tool especially used for mainframe screen testing. In terms of REXX scripts.
We need to apply the logic over there then only we can able to play it again.
It has functions like recording , playback , |
