DB2 subsystem is active or not from batch

I would like to check if a DB2 subsystem is active or not from batch. Can anyone help me on how to go about doing so?

If you have DB2 unicenter in your installation, then you can use "DT Detector" in performance management to check whether a subsystem is active or not.
