Is PART 13 is referring to partition 13? what is NUMBER OF KEYS

Yes it referring to partition 13. Index entrties are referred as KEYs.
Each entry is nothing but a subset of the row/record present in table.

Thanks
Amit

Hi,

Could you please elaborate on your reponse? what is subset of row?

I think the index keys are stored separately, if yes where its storeed.

Thanks,

Index is a subset of record.
For example:

Your table is having 10 columns and your index is defined on 3 columns.
Then for every record in table, the index will store one KEY with 3 columns.

Index stored in INDEXSPACE.
