FAILED because of insufficiant storage

when i execute jcl DSNTEJ1P.the jcl function below
FUNCTION = THIS JCL PERFORMS THE PHASE 1 SETUP FOR SAMPLE
APPLICATIONS AT SITES WITH PL/I.

the error message showed.

anybody can tell me why?

You probably need a larger REGION in your STEP. Is one coded or are you getting the default value?

Look at the IEF374I message for the step and specify a REGION larger than the VIRT xxxxK amount. Start by adding 1000K.
