Merge two different length files with SYNCSORT |
Hi ,
We can not concatenate/Merge the two files if LRECL & RECFM are different for both I/P and O/P files .

Why do you put concatenate and merge together? They are completely unrelated.
Why would you believe you cannot merge files that are not exactly the same? Both Syncsort and DFSORT handle this. . . And the output can be different than either input. . . |
