diff between unit test cased and unit test

anyone can explain the difference between unit test cases and unit testing? clarify it.thanks in advance.

Unit Testing is the most cost effective testing stage in removing defects. Unit testing must employ Functional, Structural and Heuristic (Intuitive) testing techniques to be effective against the different types of defects.

Unit test cases are set of data that were used or required for Unit testing process.
