Spitting a file into 3 different files

hi all

I have a flat file consist of records as follows

OS1D01247696+52023
OS2F246633212256+
OS5D214636977665
OS8C125896622
OS92457966333
OS1--------------------------
----------------------
-------------
OS9-----------------------
OS1---------------------
------------------
--------------------------
OS9------------------------

I want to split above file into 3 files
each file consists records from OS1 to OS9
how can achieve this?

what mix...
please clarify Your logic

if You search the forums You will find lots of examples and tips

search with "splitting files" check the all terms option
