Hi! Presently I am Working as Software Engineer in a Reputed Organisation. I am Specialized in IBM mainframe having an additional skills of Assembler. I have around an year of Exp. Now My Question is that what's the future of a Developer who is working in IBM Mainframe with Assembler and what's market value of that gu who is working on that?
I request you to please reply my question.

the higher the demand the better the future...

Sorry, you will not get that here. If anyone here could predict the future so well, they would not be here. And there is no perfect answer.
Assembler will be here as long as there is a mainframe environment. Most organizations do not hire assembler coders. The places that do hire assembler coders (usually for system work rather than application development) usually pay well.
More important is what do you want to do. As you will do whatever you choose for a long time, it would be well to make sure you do something you enjoy - it ain't all about $. Make sure that you look to the future and plan where you want to be - not just where you currently are. Have a backup plan - we don't always get what we want and sometimes when we do, things change and that is not what we want later. . . |
