OUTREC FIELDS=(10,2,4:C'NAME: ',X,1,10,60X), How this statement will format the o/p file?

output file will contain the following information from the 1st colomn.


10-11 from input file at 1-2
stirng NAME: at 4-8
space at 9
1-10 from input file at 10-19
spaces upto 60th colomn.

Hi Ksk,

Just a small correction in ur post

output file will contain the following information from the 1st colomn.
