Hi
I want to transfer Text file from PC to mainframe host using IND$FILE. This is a tab separated text file of length LRECL 3000. When I try to send this to web host using IND$FILE PUT option it is producing VB flatfile of LRECL 133. I want FB flatfile of LRECL 3000. I changed the option 'TEXT' in MVS/TSO so as to have LRECL 3000 and FB format. When I tried to send the file with these options I get a error msg like the one below:

I suggest you create a FB file and then try to send the file from PC. This always worked for me.
Also I googled for the error code and got the below suggestion.
INDFT018 Incorrect option specified: file transfer canceled
If you get the INDFT018 message when you are attempting to upload a new or replacement member to an existing PDS, then you must specify the following "Host File Options (PC to Host)" in the File Transfer dialog box:
Default
LRECL 0
