i have a GDG model, having DCB parameter like LRECL=100. After creation of some generations due to some reason i want to change LRECL=110 for next generations. MY QUESTION HERE IS 1)IS IT POSSIBLE TO MODIFY LIKE THIS? 2) IF IT IS POSSIBLE, WHAT'S THE IMPACT ON PREVIOUS GENERATIONS

Just so we're all on the same page, you are aware that DSCB models are NOT used if the dataset is on an SMS-managed volume?

And apart from that, any DCB parameters used in JCL will override the model DSCB parameters.

What do you think that the answers are ? Sit back and think about it, and thern ask if your thoughts are correct.
