"ISREDIT PREP"
"ISREDIT CRE .ZF .ZL DSN " then it will only copy jcl in the location specified, But not copying the expanded one. |

Once you get it, how will it be used? How often? What environment (test/other)?, How will it be used?, etc. |

Can you see the expanded code in the listing? Check the manual to get the desired listing. |

If you use CA-JCLCHECK(report), this is tool developed by Computer Assosiates i suppose, then u can copy the expanded JCL. When u run this tool it routes the output to a data set prefixed with user id, and it will be overwritten when ever u run this tool again. Where as JSCAN routes the output to the system dataset where the disposition is (new, del) where as CA-JCLCHEK routes to a dataset with disp (shr, keep). |

Hi lohithegde !
If i understood correctly, why not sub the job using TYPRUN=SCAN and then XDC the SDSF-Output.
If you use Sysin-DD-*, look at INPUT ON - Option in SDSF.

I believe there is now an option in JCLPREP to directly output the expanded JCL - Is this still something you would like an answer for? If so I'll see if I can dig out the option in question. |
