hi,
using SELECT statement with JOIN , only displaying the output in an output file is possible.
SELECT is for displaying only. u can't update a table with a select statement.

hi friends,
no we can not use update clause with join.
actually there is no logic in this question cos , when u want to update some table why would u use join ? |

you can insert to a table using join also but i'm not sure if insert is considered as update or not |
