Hi,
We have uploaded some files(cobol and CICS) of an application to relativity tool for analysis. But when we try to verify the source files(Cobol), we are getting "Sever 08084 - Unexpected end of file" error.
Does anybody encountered similar situation? Can anybody help us on this?
Regards,

Hello Jithucse and welcome to the forums,
You need to explain what you have tried to do (i.e. how did you "upload" the file(s), what did you upload into, what are the attributes of the file that received the upload), and how you tried to do it (what software did you use at each end of the upload?
What happens if you try to upload a single cobol source module? |

Hi,
I just used Modernization Workbench (Relativity tool) and added some files (COBOL and CICS) in .CBL extension to the project workspace for analysis.
Then i tried to compile(Verify) these cobol files. then i was getting the error.
The problem is resolved. The problem was, we renamed the .txt file(downloaded from mainframes) to .CBL files by F2 key in windows.
I think this might have corrupted some "end of file" characters in the cobol code.
We renamed the same .txt files in command prompt and tried the same.
Then the problem is resolved.
