Hi,
When I tried to expedite pgm online using
Code: |
xped pgm-name (in cics region) |
It is giving message
Code: |
NO SOURCE AVAILABLE. USE HELP KEY |
And by pressing help key it is showing
Code: |
HELP FOR "NO SOURCE AVAILABLE"
-------------------------- DIAGNOSTICS ---------------------------
NO LISTING FOUND THAT MATCHES THE LISTING NAME BELOW.
THE LISTING FOR THIS PROGRAM MAY HAVE BEEN SAVED AS A DIFFERENT NAME
OR THE LISTING MAY NOT HAVE BEEN PROCESSED.
IF YOU HAVE ENTERED A LISTING NAME OVERRIDE (SCREEN 2.6.1 OR 2.6.2),
YOU MUST "RELOAD" YOUR PROGRAM BY ENTERING ANOTHER PROGRAM NAME AND
THEN REENTERING YOUR PROGRAM NAME.
CONTACT COMPUWARE TECH SUPPORT IF YOU REQUIRE FURTHER ASSISTANCE. |
So can anyone help me in resolving this?

Hi,
1. Check whether you have compiled with CICS XPED compile JCL and with the correct program name as defined in the CICS region.IF not compile your source code
2. New copy the program in the CICS region
3. Then try to XPED the program. |

The shop where I am currently working requires an extra step. The source must be copied to a ddio file. In otherwords, the ddio file is not populated via the compile/link/bind step. |

The same in my shop too. Before expediting we usually copy the source to the DDIO file using the "ENDEVOR EXPEDITER Listing Copy Utility" in ENDEVOR. |
