DB2 COBOL program - Compilation-Recompilation

Hi all,

I am not clear with the compilation steps for COBOL-DB2 programs.

I searched the forum...if anybody knows the correct link plz do let me know...

I have two DB2 programs.....PGM1(DB2 PGM) calls another DB2 program PGM2.....

How should I compile & bind both the components...Also how should I write the RUNJCL.....

This request is urgent for me. Can anybody please help me out....

Hello,

You need to talk with others on your project or your dba(s) to be shown which is the correct compile jcl to use on your system. Using jcl provided by someone on a forum will almost never work on "your" system and may even cause problems. Compile jcl is standard on a system and only the standard compile jcl should ever be used on that system.

The link provided will give you some idea of what is required, but for specific jcl for you tom compile, you need to get that from your system. I'm sure there are multile other requirements to compile on your system, so you can use the same.
