What tool/facility are you using to view it? Is there a HELP facility available for the tool? |

Hello,
That is probably not how you want to "see" the data.
If your system has FileAid, i'd suggest using that. Otherwise, you could select records usng the sort product on your system. |

Hi,
I am able to view the Vsam file using that print ch command , but when i am viewing that dataset i can come out of that dataset by means of the command alt->f1 , but if i do that means i am coming out of that dataset but when i do wg(whose got) command to that vsam file means it shows that my userid is owning that dataset and no other can access it. So i just wanted a command by which i can come out of the dataset properly so that other users can use that. |

Yet again with dismay I ask, what if your VSAM file has many millions of records in it ?
Sigh |

Hello,
Let me say this another way.
You do not want to use that command to view your vsam data. It may be the worst possible choice. . . |
