Hi,
The USER abends are coded based on the return code giving by the Database call. If the call is successful then the IMS return code is ' ', else we get different return codes. Based on that we code abends. The abend codes are user dependent.
For example u have issued a call for a search a segment, which is not at all there, then u will get a return code as GE, based on that u can code a user abend.

I am not asked about status codes, user abends are different from status codes like s319 - ims database down and u0000.

I dont know exactly different abends and their situations and i want to know about them.

This is the second time you are giving wrong reply in my 10 posts. dont give this kind of replies without fair knowledge on them. because lot of people have to follow your answers and they have to face interviews. its a matter of life. dont play with life with your unfair knowledge.

I have not told about status code. I told you about IMS return code. You want to know about user abend. In your question you have mentioned about user abend. User abends are coded only that way whatever i have mentioned.
