Hi.
is there any way how to find the list of DATACLAS configured in a mainframe.
i used dataclas = "XXXX" in my mainframe but it has thrown JCL error
saying "ACS DATACLAS ROUTINE RETURNED XXXX which does not exist"
but i have used the same dataclas parm when i was working in another clients mainframe. is there a way how to find the list of dataclass configured in a mainframe shop |

the sms definitions and naming standards are always customer specific
ask Your storage support group about the standards in place |

Unless you are required to code DATACLAS in your JCL why bother, just let the ACS routines assign the correct class to your dataset. |

All dataclasses, management classes and storage classes will be specified in acs.source libraries which are site specific.
Your storage administrator can help much better. |

Hi,
Yes, it's site specific. But was little curious to know what You've used for this parameter? |
