hi,
I tried to execute the macro using the below satement.
address ispexec "edit dataset("ds") macro(mac1)"
but it is not working for intended dataset given in 'ds'. instead it operates on the dataset which contains the REXX code that invokes it.
wat to do..? |

DO NOT post a new topic onto an existing one -
That is why you have been issued a warning
Have you tried running with TRACE to see why this happens ? |

Show us also what you have in ds.
Maybe there is only a member name in that variable? |

ds = 'userid.work.output'
I have moved my entire REXX EXECs to SYSPROC.
