Hello, i'm trying to define a new management class and storage class, i translated, tested and validated all changes succesfully, but when activating, i got the following error messages:
" Activation Not scheduled...
SMS RETCODE:12 SMS RSNCODE:13000 SSREQ RETCODE: 0"

Was there another messgae code issued just prior to the message you have posted ?
Would probably be an IGDnnnnn message code |

No, just that message.... i talked to some storage managers here, and they told me that it could be related to my ISMF PANEL, and that i could activate it thru command... i found this command ....
SETSMS SCDS(scdsname) ACDS(acdsname), but it didn't work too... do you know any command?

It may also be because you are not authorised to execute the command.
If you are not a storage person, then I do rather hope that this is the case. |

Well, in fact i'm with special user to RACF, and when i tried to issue the command setsms i got: " command setsms not found".
I think it's related to some configuration on the system regarding the commands defined.... do you know where i can find this information and fix it?

In the DFSMS Diagnosis manual I see that reason code 13000 means "user not authorized to activate a configuration".
You may not be as special to RACF as you think. |
