SORT 9 segmented files with same fields

There are about 9 segmented files with same fields is there any sort to add A1 of first S1, A2 of S2, A3 of S3......

Hello,

Start over and provide a workable description of what you need to do.

You could show 3 "input" files (instead of 9) and what you want for output from these 3 files.

Mention which positions you want to sort by as well as if the data is fixed or variable and the lrecl of the inputs and outputs.
